Diet-to-Go: Meal Review, Pricing and Coupon Code

Diet-to-Go is a great way to lose weight. Their home-delivered meals come in a big Fedex package each week and contain a week's worth of frozen food. You simply pop each day's breakfast, lunch, and dinner (along with a few snacks) into the microwave and you have a fully prepared, delicious meal. Each day's worth of meals contains either 1,200 or 1,600 calories (you choose).

But how do the meals taste?

I've been eating Diet-to-Go meals for the past 3 weeks, and I have to say I really like the food. Its way better than the premium frozen meals you can buy at the supermarket. The chicken is always juicy and tender, the beef is soft and meaty, the sauces are flavorful and rich, and the side vegetables and rice or pasta are usually delicious. My favorite meals are the Parmigiana Chicken - very cheesy with crisp breading, and the Beef Medallions with Roasted Potatoes - the beef was surprisingly tender and full of flavor and the gravy sauce was delicious.

How much does it cost?

Diet-to-Go costs around $120 per week including shipping cost, which might vary based on your location. For that price you get a package with 3 meals per day plus snacks. While $120 per week works out to $480 per month and sounds a little expensive, when I thought about each meal, dividing it up, and calculating that each meal was costing just over $5 each - it didn't seem too bad. You can spend more than that at McDonalds for a much less nutritious, calorie-busting meal! Given the high quality and taste of the food from Diet-to-Go, it seemed to be a bargain to me.

Do they have vegetarian and low-carb options?

Yes, Diet-to-Go has many options, including a vegetarian option and a plan for low-carb dieters. I've heard the low-carb diet is quite good - the meal options there are Porcini Mushroom Chicken, Shrimp Mango Bisque, Thai Turkey Tenderloins, and Meat Loaf. Diet-to-Go also has a diabetic meal plan, as well as a low-sodium plan, so they have something for all diet needs.

I'm going to stay on Diet-to-Go for now - its convenient and I like the food, and so far I've lost 8 lbs over 3 weeks. If you don't mind eating from a prepared menu each day, I'd say Diet-to-Go is a great option. Good luck!
